Bill Foster, President and Owner
Bill graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with dual degrees in Engineering and Business Administration. Early in his career, he served the Kelch Corporation as Vice President and General Manager.
Dr. Tim Mikula, Vice President of Technology
Tim has been a business partner for twelve years. Prior to joining Community Perceptions, Tim was the president and CEO of System Management Software, Incorporated, a software company he founded in 1989 and later sold. In addition to private consulting, Tim has served as an adjunct professor of Computer Science and Statistics at St. Thomas University in St. Paul and as an analyst and consultant for 3M where he focused on Artificial Intelligence product development. He earned his bachelor, masters and doctoral degrees in Computer Science, with minors in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Rob DeMeuse, Vice President of Research
A proud product of rural Wisconsin, Rob earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, where he researched a combination of school finance, school referendums, and statistics. Prior to graduate school, Rob was a high school social studies teacher in Evansville, WI, and a healthcare software trainer at Epic.
Dr. Derek Gottlieb, Senior Research Director
Derek earned his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. As a professor of education for the past eight years, he has researched and supervised doctoral dissertations on school climate, teacher and student voice, administrator-board relations, school-community trust, and school accountability issues.
Daren Sievers, Project Manager
Daren has bachelor degrees in Business Management and Psychology and master’s degrees in K-12 School Counseling, K-12 School Leadership, and District Administration.
Cari Udermann, Project Manager
Cari attended St. Cloud State University and Syracuse University, earning degrees in Psychology and Nursing, respectively. Throughout her career she has worked in the medical field, for community-based organizations and in a school setting.
Beverly Zukowski, Project Manager
Beverly pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education and earned an Administrative Credential. Beverly’s most recent work experience was at the Slinger School District as an administrative assistant and open enrollment coordinator. Prior to that she was a director of a local child development center and worked as a Program Coordinator for Kohls’ Corporate Child Development Center.
Scott Girard, Project Manager
Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in journalism and political science before becoming a professional reporter in the Madison area. His reporting career included covering local governments, budgets, and referendums.
